There's an old saying among actors as they wish each other well just before a performance...."Break a Leg!" Frankly, I've never understood the phrase. I guess they're hoping to take over the role when you do.
The phrase I've always admired was the one used by actor Jack Lemmon each time he got ready to go on-camera....."It's MAGIC TIME!" Whenever an actor steps before a camera or microphone, it is indeed "MAGIC TIME!"
